Paper Submission

For poster submission, please see the instructions here.

Actual paper submission is done through this site: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/TPRC2008/

We are using the submission system that was used for abstracts. The current paper submission system will request your "camera ready" submission. Please do not be concerned. That is simply being used to allow individuals to submit papers for the event.

In the event that the papers are invited for republication, either as part of the edited text or in any other form excluding the proceedings, you will certainly be given full control over the presentation of you work. The conference submission system will not be used for the development of any secondary publications.

These submissions can be improved and resubmitted until August 30, 2008. After that time you will lose access.

You can submit files as rtf, ps, pdf, gif, mpg, and jpg. We have had difficulty transferring doc and docx files between versions of Microsoft, and some difficulty in reading these on non-Microsoft operating platforms (e.g., Apple, Linux, Solaris). These formats are also more stable over time, ensuring that your work will be readable and accessible in the archives for years to come (unless you request removal).

To submit, either the first time or as an edit, go to the submission option by clicking under "Camera-Ready Presentations". You will then have these options:

Choose file upload. DO NOT STOP THERE. You must then go to "Confirmation". When you submit your paper under the "File Upload" page it will upload the file as a temporary file. To make this permanent you must confirm the upload.

You MUST PRESS "FINISH" UNDER THE CONFIRMATION TAB, as shown in the screen shot below. Otherwise your file will be deleted by the conference management system.

We appreciate your patience and consideration as you work with us to improve TPRC by exploring various online conference management systems. If you have any difficulties please contact Jean Camp or Laura Verinder. We cannot assure you strongly enough that NO ONE will have their work excluded because of difficulties with uploading their work.
